Shama Suasana Johor Bahru Hotel

What a lovely place for a romantic getaway! The location couldn't be better-close to customs and just a stroll away from City Square mall. The apartment was spacious and clean, making it super cozy for us. We loved the comfortable bed, enjoyed the view from our room, and appreciated the fully equipped kitchen for when we felt like staying in!

Had tastefully decorated, modern room with laundry and nice view of JB, as for instance. The service here was friendly. Everything was good, including a pool area and a community pool available...

The hotel was convenient with very friendly employees in professional manner. Particularly good and magnificent location - adjacent to a restaurant as well as very easy to get to the check point. And a few steps away from Persada Convention Center. Fast check in and easy check out. A pool area was a big bonus too.

The location was convenient, but the pool could use some TLC and we faced a few lift delays. It was a comfortable experience for my family and me.

16 rooms were booked for our company family trip, Room types from ranging from 3 bedrooms to 1 bedroom. Rooms were clean, spacious and new. Excellent location to a few malls and walking distance to the CIQ. There's a 7-11 just next to the hotel. Breakfast was good and we had a buffet dinner at the hotel too. Specially catered for us and the food was amazing. The hotel's assistant manager Ms Efnerina was very helpful and responsive. She sees to that our check in was hassle free and made prior arrangements before our arrival. Highly recommended for corporate bookings, big groups with families. Value for money!

All pros and no cons!

The check-in was a total mess; Meanwhile, I had to wait in a restaurant with no assistance. Talk about frustrating! Plus, the room smelled bad and had stains everywhere. So disappointing!

The location was fantastic, within walking distance of malls and landmarks like the Johor Bahru Old Chinese Temple and Johor Zoo. cleanliness could be improved, especially with lingering odors. it was a pleasant experience with helpful staff and great amenities for relaxation, including a pool with a view!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, where the location was super convenient, just a short walk from JBCC and City Square. The staff, especially Ms. Aida, were polite and helpful, providing excellent service throughout my visit.

There were some hiccups that dampened the experience. The lifts had issues during my visit, which caused delays—a struggle when traveling with kids! Plus, I faced some confusion with deposits and a mismatched payment situation that was a bit annoying.
